French for adult beginners
Our French lessons for adult beginners are aimed at learners over 18 who would like to start learning French for the first time, or who have studied it in the past and would like to go over the basics again.
Our classes of up to 6 learners will cover the key expressions you will need if you are spending time in France or another French-speaking country, introduce essential language and explore a range of topics that can be tailored to the needs and interests of learners.
All sessions will be led by a qualified secondary languages teacher with experience of working with adult learners. We aim to create a relaxed learning environment and to support learners to work at their own pace, learn in a way that suits them and be confident using their new language.
In-person French classes
Date and time: Tuesday 2.30-3.30pm from 25 February 2025
Sessions will run during term time and can be booked per half term.
Venue: In person at the Colchester Business Centre (1 George Williams Way, Colchester CO1 2JS)
Cost: £25 per session (1st session FREE)
Sessions will be charged per half term (in blocks of 5-6 weeks depending on term dates).

Online French classes
Date and time: Tuesday 7-8pm from 25 February 2025
Sessions will run during term time and can be booked per half term.
Venue: Online via Microsoft Teams
Cost: £25 per session (1st session FREE)
Sessions will be charged per half term (in blocks of 5-6 weeks depending on term dates).
